WAGES & STAFF DISCOUNTS
We strive to provide the real national living wage to every member of staff that works with us at The Greenbank. We offer 20% staff discount off food and beverage throughout the hotel including The Working Boat pub and our sister hotels The Alverton, The Falmouth and The Penventon. We also offer reduced room rates for employees, friends, and family across all four hotels, and discounts on room hire for special events and celebrations.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING PLANS
Offering various training and courses within the hotel and outside sources, we enjoy seeing our teams progress with their own personal performances. For example, our bar and restaurant team will attend wine tasting courses, our marketing team will attend social media and strategy courses, and our porter team will attend first aid training courses. INCENTIVE SCHEMES & PERKS
We love to provide incentives for our staff, with regular performance reviews and rewards for exceptional work. Our management team also nominate and select a “staff member of the month” who will receive a monetary reward when they’ve been chosen to receive the recognition.
We celebrate every staff member’s birthday by giving them a £10 gift voucher to spend in The Working Boat.

GYM & SWIM MEMBERSHIP
We offer all our team members free off-peak gym and swim membership at The Falmouth and The Penventon. We also offer subsidised peak membership.
SOCIAL EVENTS & CHARITY INVOLVEMENT
Every year, The Greenbank hosts a Christmas party for the staff. Most of the teams are good friends with each other and you can often see them gathering for an evening in The Working Boat!
With a strong commitment to raising awareness and funds for local charities in Cornwall, The Greenbank have recently raised money for Cornwall Air Ambulance.
