Absolutely. If you’d like a slower start to your day in Falmouth, you can add late check‑out at 12pm for £20 or 1pm for £30. Just let us know ahead of time.

Yes, we have 12 dog friendly rooms at the hotel. We welcome well behaved dogs to stay for £20 per dog, per night, with a maximum of 3 dogs per room. This includes a food and water bowl and some gourmet treats for them to enjoy.

Yes, you can request for a newspaper to be delivered to your room when checking in at reception, or through contacting our reception team prior to your arrival. Newspapers are delivered from 7:45am until 8am.

Breakfast is served in the Water’s Edge restaurant from 7am until 10am from Monday to Friday, and 7.30am until 10am on weekends. 

Prefer breakfast in bed? We can deliver it to your room for a £5 supplement. Please speak to reception to find out more. 

Yes, our main room service menu is available 12pm until 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 8.30pm. We also offer a 24 hour menu including a limited selection of beverages, light snacks, soups, sandwiches. Please note, a £5 room service charge will be added on to your final bill. 

Yes, fridges are included in our Deluxe rooms, Superior rooms, and Suites. If you would like one added to another room type, please contact reception before arrival. 

Safes are provided in our suites only. 

Yes, every room is equipped with robes and slippers to make your stay extra comfortable and relaxing.

We’re within walking distance of Falmouth Town railway station – a scenic and convenient way to arrive into Cornwall. Trains connect to cities including Truro, Exeter, Bristol, and London Paddington. 

Yes! A variety of water taxi options are available to and from our pontoon. Please ask at reception for more information.

The Greenbank is partially accessible for wheelchair users. Please note, we do not have fully accessible rooms due to the nature of our historic building and its limitations. All our hotel rooms are located on the first floor or above. We have two lifts – one is located by our reception and the second can be accessed via a number of stairs towards the rear of the hotel. We also have an accessible entrance point at the side of our hotel, accessed via an inclined footpath. Please contact us on 01326 312440 if you have any queries or concerns.

Dogs are welcome in the Water’s Edge bar and lounge for breakfast, and in our downstairs pub, The Working Boat, for lunch and dinner. Dogs are not allowed in the Water’s Edge restaurant at any time. 

Yes, The Greenbank is a family friendly hotel. We have a variety of rooms available to suit families, including bunk bed and sofa bed options. 

No, we do not currently offer on-site babysitting services.

Yes, you can post a letter through the hotel reception. Please note, we do not sell stamps at the hotel. Instead, we can frank your post and charge the standard stamp price.

For the Water’s Edge restaurant, bar and lounge, we ask guests to follow our smart casual dress code. Shoes must be worn at all times. 

• Lunch: Monday to Saturday 12pm-2.30pm, and Sunday 12.30pm-2.45pm
• Afternoon Tea: Monday to Saturday 12pm-5pm, and Sunday 3.30pm-5pm
• Dinner: From 6.30pm 

We also serve a selection of sandwiches and snacks from 12pm-6pm, Monday to Saturday. 

Dogs are not allowed in the Water’s Edge restaurant. However, dogs are welcome in the Water’s Edge bar and lounge for breakfast, and dogs are allowed in the exterior terrace, Captain’s Table, and in The Working Boat pub at all times. 

No need to book, simply turn up on the day. The Water’s Edge bar and lounge is open daily from 10am until late.

Yes. Our kitchen team can adapt our menus to accommodate most dietary requirements. Please let us know about any dietary needs at the time of booking or before your arrival so we can prepare accordingly. 

We do not offer a specific gluten free menu. We use a variety of ingredients free from gluten for specific dishes, but we cannot guarantee these products remain gluten free due to the risk of cross contamination in the kitchens.

The Working Boat is open every day from 11am until late.  

Yes, the main menu is available every Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 3pm and 5:30pm to 9pm. 

Every Sunday, you can enjoy a hearty roast, served from 12:30pm to 8pm.

No booking is required for drinks – simply turn up and the team will do their best to accommodate you. 

Absolutely! The Working Boat is a dog-friendly pub, and the team will even have a jar of dog biscuits and water bowls at the ready.  

Yes! Every Monday from 8pm is Open Mic Night, and all performers get a free drink.

All bookings are made through Escape to the Sauna. Their terms and conditions apply. Please note, you will need to complete a waiver before using the sauna.  

Yes! Guests staying at The Greenbank Hotel receive an exclusive 20% discount code in their pre‑arrival welcome email. 

Please bring one towel to sit on and another to dry off or change under. We also recommend bringing plenty of water to stay hydrated, along with appropriate swimwear for your sauna session. 

No, so please arrive swim-ready. Most guests bring a robe or towel for comfort before and after their session. 

If you have an existing health condition or any concerns about sauna use, we recommend seeking medical advice beforehand. Do not use the sauna if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or are experiencing dizziness or fainting symptoms.
