Breakfast Chef

Salary: £12.50 – £14 per hour depending on experience

Time of work: 6am – 2pm / 5 days per week / 1 in 5 weekends off

We are looking for an experienced, calm, and professional chef to run our breakfast service. This role needs experience and ideally you will be coming from a similar quality and size background. It goes without saying, you need to be reliable, and you need to be a morning person.The menu is not vast, but it is fully plated. Everybody who stays with us will experience breakfast overlooking the harbour, and the food quality and consistency must match the view!

Senior Commis / Junior CDP Chef x 2

Salary: Up to £12.50 per hour depending on experience

1 full time / 1 part time

We are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic chefs. Experience would be beneficial, but enthusiasm and a will to learn is key. We offer a variety of food styles from outside takeaway burgers and gastro pub classics, to 2AA rosette dining – you will get a taste of it all.

Ideally you will already be working at a similar sized, busy establishment, but experience in any good food environment would be ideal. Training will be offered; we just ask that you are serious and committed with us.

Restaurant Supervisor

Salary: £12.50


Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Due to internal promotions, The Greenbank Hotel now require a restaurant supervisor. This is a full time role and involves taking the lead on service, coordinating a busy and high achieving team to ensure the best possible dining experience for all our guests.

Our award winning restaurant has 80 covers and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 365 days per year to a wide range of diners, all of who must have their expectations fully met in our busy 61 bedroom, four star hotel.

A sense of humour is essential, as is a big smile, and a commitment to providing the highest standards of relaxed service. We want our hotel to be at the forefront of providing genuine hospitality so you’ll need to walk the walk – there is no place to hide in our team.

A salary above market norms is provided, along with uniform, staff discount in the main hotel including The Working Boat and the opportunity of joining a dynamic and high achieving team of professional staff.
