9th – 18th August: Falmouth Week

Don’t miss Falmouth Week this upcoming August. We’ll be celebrating with exciting events on our very own private quay, as well as hosting live music in our marquee. Expect local bands, refreshing brews, great food and plenty of fun.

Falmouth Week at The Greenbank

Falmouth Week is back for another spectaculor year this August and we’re celebrating on our private quay. Our Beer Tent will host various events throughout the week suitable for all ages. From Friday 9th through to Sunday 18th August, The Working Boat will be open from 10am until late every day.

We’re absolutely buzzing to be welcoming everyone back onto our harbour to celebrate Falmouth Week 2024. Our favourite festival of the year!

 

We’re going to be hosting a weekend of exciting free events that are sure to get you into the spirit of this amazing festival.

The full Falmouth Week schedule of events at The Working Boat is as follows:


FRIDAY 9TH AUGUST: PINK WIG 

Pink Wig is back! After the success of last year’s event, the team from Pink Wig will be joining us again from 4pm. The ladies will be heading to our very own quay for the Pink pre parade party before marching their way through Falmouth, all in aid of breast cancer awareness.

Everyone is welcome for the Pink Wig Pre-Party (including men) with a percentage of sales from the Pink Wig cocktails and food being donated to the Pink Wig fundraising total.


FRIDAY 16TH AUGUST: LIVE MUSIC FROM FALMOUTH SOUL SENSATION

Renowned Cornish band Falmouth Soul Sensation will be bringing the tunes to The Working Boat’s quay with their funky beats. Bringing 1960s soul to life, this twelve piece band is sure to get the whole crowd moving and shaking to their renditions of classic hits. Make sure to stay late to see the fireworks across the harbour!


SATURDAY 17TH AUGUST: LIVE MUSIC FROM JONAH’S LIFT

Get ready to dance the night away to the sounds of eclectic tunes and energetic beats from renowned Cornish folk band Jonah’s Lift from 8pm. This 6-piece folk-rock/Ceilidh band based in Falmouth are an energetic bunch who are known for their unusual musical arrangements, humour and ability to get any crowd young or old up and dancing.


All events are free to attend and the pub will be open as normal for lunch and dinner.
