Hugging the shoreline, the hotel is shaped by its extraordinary harbourside position. Stepping through its front doors, you’re greeted by a vast window framing the estuary beyond.

The most marvellous service from ALL the staff. From the minute you left your room you were met with a cheery greeting. There was absolutely nothing lacking and I thoroughly enjoyed my four day stay. The thoughtful little gifts were a bonus and a delight. I came away thrilled with my break and will highly recommend The Greenbank to all my friends.

The whole stay was indeed magical. We arrived tired and a bit wrung out but quickly relaxed into the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Your staff are marvellous – truly. We enjoyed everything – the little presents, the Champagne, the pantomime, lovely deep sleeps at night and the freedom to join in or just sit quietly reading and gazing out to sea. Going back to the restaurant, the aspect which mattered most to us was the brilliance of all your staff. They really tried and succeeded in delighting these customers. Thank you.
