Here are just a few things to know before you arrive with your four legged friend in tow…
We can’t wait to welcome you and your pooch, but before you arrive please read below our doggy house rules. These must be adhered to throughout your stay with us.
Please keep your dog on a lead at all times when in public areas.
Please do not let your dog climb or jump on any furniture in public areas of the hotel.
Owners will be liable for any damage caused.
Please don’t be offended if you’re asked to move to a quieter area should your pooch get over-excited.
Always keep your dog with you if you leave the hotel grounds.
Our staff may pay perfect pooches some extra attention – if for what ever reason you wish them not to, please just let our teams know.
Doggy Dining
We have a variety of breakfast options for you and your pooch to choose from during your stay with us:
If you prefer to dine solo, you’re welcome to leave well-behaved pooches unattended in your room whilst you enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Water’s Edge.
Very well behaved and quiet dogs are welcome for breakfast in our dog-friendly bar corner. Please note booking is essential prior or at the time of your arrival.
If you’re looking to fill the sea air in your lungs, why not enjoy your breakfast outside on our terrace area (weather dependant)?
For those in need of a lie in, we’ll be happy to offer a complimentary room service breakfast. Please place your order with our reception team the day before.
If your four legged friend prefers to dine in a quieter spot in the morning, our Captain’s Table is the perfect place to start the day. Please request this at the time of booking.
We also have a variety of dining options to enjoy throughout the day:
Enjoy an afternoon tea or a selection of nibbles at our Captain’s Table area from midday until evening.
Our pub downstairs, The Working Boat, welcomes dogs in all areas and is open for drinks, lunch and dinner every day from 11am until late. Expect to encounter lots of other furry friends down there.
Please note, other than during our breakfast service times, dogs are NOT PERMITTED in the bar area after 10.30am, Monday to Sunday.
