8AM – 10AM: A HEARTY CORNISH BREAKFAST

You’ve woken up in the comfort of your hotel room at The Greenbank. Start the day the Falmouth way and wander down to the restaurant to enjoy a hearty Cornish breakfast. Served until 10:30am, fuel up for a day of exploring!

10AM – 11:30AM: stroll into town

Head towards the bustling town of Falmouth, a short five minute walk from The Greenbank. With stunning harbour views on your journey, start at the top of the old high street, where you’ll meet an array of independent businesses, such as gift shop The Grey Lurcher, coffee shop Beacon Coffee, clothing shop The Little Vintage Warehouse 13, and pottery café Star Glazers. Head further into the town, where mainstream shops are available, as well as the National Maritime Museum with their new exhibition Monsters of the Deep.

11:30AM – 1pM: sail to st mawes

Hop aboard the Fal River Ferry and explore our neighbouring village of St Mawes. One of Cornwall’s most popular boat trips, you’ll pass the impressive castles of St Mawes and Pendennis before journeying across the Carrick Roads. Here you may come across dolphins, seals and basking sharks that regularly visit the harbour.

1pM – 2pm: pause for lunch

Our Cornish county is known for being foodie-centric, and with an array of cafes, restaurants and bistros to visit, Falmouth is no exception. Travel the cuisine world and try African inspired restaurant Amazi, Caribbean infused Cribbs, or keep it Cornish with a traditional steak pasty at Choak’s. Looking for a traditional Cornish pub instead? The Working Boat, located just below The Greenbank, offers some pub grub classics with a Cornish twist. 2pm – 5pm: head to cornish gardens

After lunch, how about stretching the legs and strolling through a sub-tropical coastal paradise? Trebah garden, as well as Glendurgan garden, is just a short 15 minute drive from Falmouth. With striking coastal backdrops, an array of exotic flora and fauna, as well as experiences for all the family to enjoy, stroll through the vibrant tunnels of colour and see Cornwall like you’ve never seen it before.

5pm – 7pm: cocktail o’clock

It’s time to treat yourself to a tipple or two! You’ve walked for miles today, so why not relax in the Water’s Edge bar for a while? Our Bar Manager Holly and the team are ready to whip up some delightful cocktails to quench your thirst. Please note: we are unable to take bookings for drinks in our bar, but you are welcome walk-in and if we have a table available, join us for cocktails!



7pm – 9pm: dive into dinner

From the bar to the restaurant, there is nowhere more special to enjoy the views of Falmouth harbour. So why not join us for dinner? Including daily changing chef recommendations, as well as gluten free and vegan options on request, indulge in signature Cornish dishes with the freshest seafood and local produce in this two AA rosette-awarded restaurant. 9pm – 8am: and relax

You’ve had an action-packed day exploring some of Falmouth’s favourite places, so it’s time to relax.
