Falmouth’s high street has an eclectic mix of bookshops, music and coffee shops. Here we share our best-loved independent shops in Falmouth to get on your hit list…
LUDGATE HOUSE ANTIQUES
51A High Street
Sitting on the old high street, at the front of a 17th century merchants house with original oak paneled walls, this quirky antiques shop is full of exciting décor to take home. You can find quality antiques ranging from the 18th-20th century. Ludgate House Antiques is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am until 5pm, so why not go and say hello to owners Ralph and Nicki, who will be sure to welcome you and show you around their characterful shop.

Suppling Falmouth with sustainable choices, un_rap is a completely zero waste shop with a mission to raise awareness of plastic pollution. With everything from refill options to organic cleaning products, as well as lots of eco-friendly goodies, un_rap is here to help you on your journey to becoming plastic free.
BOTANICAL ATELIER
19A Arwenack Street
Owned by botanical artist, Sarah Jane Humphrey, this beautiful shop not only sells gorgeous books, plants and décor but also runs workshops too. If you pop into Botanical Atelier, you will spot Sarah’s incredible illustrations that will leave you feeling inspired. This calming space is the perfect place to book a workshop and explore your own drawing skills as well as learn new techniques. We’d highly recommend!
STONE’S BAKERY
35 High Street
Just a short stroll from the hotel, you can’t pass this lovely café without breathing in the heart-warming smell of artisan breads and pastries. With friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. Stones are open from 8.30am until 4.30pm and we’d recommend getting there early, to beat the crowds and enjoy the freshest bakes!
JAM RECORDS

Just a few doors down from Stones sits local favourite, Jam Records. If you’re into your music, you’ll find yourself pouring through Jam’s vast array of classic vinyl, magazines and more. You can pass the time building your new music collection with a Monmouth coffee in hand, from the team’s coffee machine, perfect for making you feel right at home.

A new favourite for us, OldeRope is an eco boutique that promotes a sustainable lifestyle. This shops sells beautiful products from waste material. Not only this, OldeRope holds several workshops to teach you how to create stunning sustainable pieces of your own. We’d really recommend a visit to this new shop and showing your support!
DIZZY
3 Arwenack St
Sitting just opposite Falmouth town’s church, Dizzy have a wonderful variety of women’s clothing and jewellery to choose from. If you’re into quirky patterns and standing out from the crowd, this shop will have something just for you. Dizzy is open from 10am until 5.30pm on weekdays and 11am until 4pm every Sunday.

Cloudberry Living is the perfect place to find beautiful interior pieces for your home and is only a short stroll from The Greenbank. With quality products, Cloudberry has an ethos and design style which encapsulates a Scandinavian feel. As soon as you step through the door you can feel the passion for interior design from owners Steve and Alicia, who are extremely helpful when searching for a brand new item for your home.
GEORGIA’S VOICE
5 Killigrew Street
Georgia’s Voice is a recent addition to our lovely high street. This shop is a pre-loved boutique, which sells high quality preloved clothes as well as new clothing and funky home accessories too. Georgia’s Voice is a charity, built for the legacy of local Georgia Gallaway who tragically took her own life. The passion and hard work of this amazing team raises awareness among the community of the importance of mental health. Pop down and show your support for this fantastic charity.
BEACON COFFEE

Voted as one of the best coffee shops in England, Beacon Coffee is the place to go if you want to fuel up before a wander around Falmouth, or sit and relax after your shopping. Owners Alex and Sam have a real passion for coffee and you can taste this in every cup you purchase.
