Whether you’re going vegan this month or trying to cut down on your meat and dairy consumption, there are plenty of vegan treats to sample in The Duchy this month. With a couple of weeks left of Veganuary, we’ve put together a list of the best vegan treats in Cornwall.
1. Winter vegan afternoon tea at The Greenbank
If you really want to indulge yourself this January, head over to our Water’s Edge restaurant for three tiers of deliciousness with our winter vegan afternoon tea.
Work your way down three delectable tiers of sweet and savoury treats including beetroot gravlax with white feta, and roasted aubergine sandwiches, followed by praline chocolate fudge cake and a cherry coconut bakewell. Wash it all down with a pot of loose-leaf tea or a coffee of your choice.

2. SASPERELLA DONUTS
These Cornwall-famous vegan donuts are the perfect indulgent treat. With flavours like Biscoff cheesecake, miso banana caramel and double choc custard crunchie, it’s difficult not to order an entire box. The independent deli do deliveries of their famous donuts every Friday in Falmouth and Penryn. They can also be found at The Moor Market in Falmouth every Saturday from March to December.

Vegan or not, sometimes you just fancy a burger. Head down to our cosy pub this January and sink your teeth into the vegan burger of your dreams. Vegans don’t have to miss out on the original traditional Cornish lunch. Whilst most pasty shops offer a decent vegan vegetable pasty, Ann’s pasties are one of our favourites. You can get your hands on an Ann’s pasty at their shops in Porthleven, The Lizard and Helston.
