1st – 30th April: Cocktail Club

Where: Water’s Edge Bar

We’re putting the sweet and sour in happy hour, every Friday in April. Join us at the Water’s Edge Bar from 5pm and enjoy two for £12 on our signature tipples. With lighter evenings extending throughout spring, it’s the perfect chance to sink back in a comfy chair and enjoy our panoramic ocean views. Clock off and share a sundowner as the sun sets over the harbour – bliss!

Take a peek at our bespoke cocktail menu – a collection of classic tipples and more inventive concoctions, expertly crafted by our talented team of mixologists.

1st – 30th April: The Working Boat Pub Quiz

Flex your general knowledge skills this month at our weekly pub trivia night down at The Working Boat. Every Sunday evening from 7:30pm our crew will be hosting Falmouth’s funnest free quiz night. Order a pint of your favourite local ale and settle in for an evening of competitive quizzing.

During the quiz, there is an opportunity to make an optional donation to our charity of the month. For April, we’re supporting Parkinson’s UK.

3rd April: An Evening Of Burlesque

Where: The Hall For Cornwall, Truro

The UK’s longest running burlesque show is coming to the Cornish capital! Prepare for a night of glitz and glamour with a vibrant line-up of cabaret comedy, live music, burlesque dancing, and circus performers. The dazzling variety show is in Cornwall for one night only, so make sure you don’t miss out!

5th April: The Scottish Play

Where: The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno

Discover what’s on in Cornwall in April in the world of theatre, with a visit to The Minack. A comical and immersive narration of Shakespeare’s famous tale of Macbeth, come along to an evening of storytelling on the cliff tops at this family-friendly event.

6th – 7th April: Spring Flower Show

Where : The Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge

A hot date in the horticultural calendar, Cornwall’s annual Spring Flower Show is back this April. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, or a budding enthusiast, this festival of flowers is a true celebration of the arrival of spring. The event is being hosted by the Cornwall Garden Society at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge. Tickets cost £10 when you book in advance, or £12 on the door.

12th – 13th April: Wanderfal Festival

Where: The Cornish Bank

For the third year running, The Cornish Bank is hosting Wanderfal, an intimate festival celebrating grassroot artists in Falmouth. The ideal event to discover your new favourite genre or local musician, the mini festival’s aim is to support the creative community in our maritime town.

13th – 14th April: Enys House Antiques & Decorative Fair

Where: Enys Gardens, Penryn

If you’ve got a keen eye for antiques, discover your next treasured piece of art, furniture, or jewellery at Enys Gardens. Taking place on the ground floor of the historical and impressive Enys House, spend an afternoon browsing through some incredible collectables, brought along by experienced dealers and exhibitors. Who knows what you might uncover!

19th April: The Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys (Queen Tribute Act)

Where: Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

Turn back time to the rock ‘n’ roll era of the 70s. Cornwall’s answer to Queen is taking to the stage at the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth. If you’re a music-lover looking for what’s on in Cornwall this April, you’re in for a treat. With renditions of global hits like Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen, and Don’t Stop Me Now, The Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys will put on a royally memorable show.

25th April: Bobby’s Taste of Cornwall

Where: The Greenbank

Following two sell-out evenings in March, our Head Chef Bobby is back this month to share more of his culinary knowledge in a carefully-curated six-course tasting menu. Join us in the Sundeck to sample expertly cooked cuisine, inspired by the seasons and the region.

27th April: Falmouth Pride

Where: Falmouth town

On 27th April, our vibrant town will be waving the pride flag loud and proud. Whether you are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, or an ally and supporter of equal rights for all, we can’t wait to see everyone coming together for a rainbow parade through the town. A free and inclusive event, everyone is welcome to join in Falmouth Pride.
