Where to go Locally To stay Organic this month
Organic September is a month-long campaign which raises awareness of organic products and the brands, producers and farmers who bring them to us. Foods labelled as organic must meet strict regulations on how they’ve been grown and produced. All organic food companies and farms are inspected yearly to ensure that they meet the high standards required for organic food under European law. So to make it easier, we’ve scribbled a list of places in Cornwall to get that organic fix…

Cusgarne Organic Farm, near truro
Cusgarne Farm is just over 100 acres of organic land in the heart of Cornwall. Their fields, orchards and tunnels have been organic since 1988, when they decided that they didn’t fancy spraying chemicals on their family’s salad any more. This then got them thinking, probably other families didn’t particularly want petrochemicals in their dinner either! So they started delivering fresh organic vegetables to local families. Now three decades later, Cusgarne is running their business in the most environmentally friendly way possible with a team who are passionate about the environment, ethically produced food and green farming practices.
