3rd October 2023: Ocean Film Festival – Hall for Cornwall

8th October 2023: Wheatus – Princess Pavilion
This October, American rock band Wheatus will be taking to the Princess Pavilion stage in Falmouth. Most famous for their huge hit Teenage Dirtbag in the noughties, strap on your dancing shoes for an evening to remember.
12th – 15th October 2023: Falmouth Oyster Festival
A weekend paying tribute to the nation’s favourite mollusc, get ready for a shucking good time down at Falmouth’s Events Square, opposite the National Maritime Museum. As oyster dredging season begins, this is the perfect event to sample a native Fal oyster from seafood experts and award-winning chefs.
Alongside oysters galore, tuck into more delicious seafood, watch live as chefs perform cooking demos, and party by the ocean with live music and entertainment.
16th – 22nd October 2023: Falmouth Book Festival
Fans of great literature wondering what’s on this October in Cornwall will want to bookmark this week. An exciting line-up of famous authors will be heading to Falmouth Book Festival this month, including 2013 Booker Prize winner Eleanor Catton, marine conservationist Charles Clover, and famous historian James Holland. 21st – 29th October 2023: Halloween Half Term, Pendennis Castle
