1st – 29th august 2023: CHILDREN’S POTTERY, SEA CREATURES

Where: The Poly, Falmouth

A hands-on morning filled with creativity for budding sculptors and artists. Take your little ones to The Poly on a Tuesday in August for one of the venue’s children’s pottery mornings. Grab a clump of air dry clay, and let your imagination run wild, making the underwater world your muse at this ‘Sea Creatures’ clay workshop.

Suitable for ages 3-14, the session will explore the use of form, colour, and textures. All materials are included, and tickets cost just £5 per child.

4th august 2023: PINK WIG PRE-EVENT PARTY

Where: Right on our doorstep

When the streets of Falmouth are flooded with a sea of fuschia, rose, pastel, and neon pink-wigged ladies, it can only mean one thing. The Pink Wig parade is back in town! We’re extremely honoured to be hosting the pre-event party once again, for this annual occasion as part of the Falmouth Week celebrations, all in aid of raising money and awareness for breast cancer.

Whilst the event itself is strictly ladies night, everyone is welcome to join us for the Pink Wig Pre-Party, which will be held in our marquee on the harbour front. Our resident cocktail expert Holly will be shaking up her exclusive pink wig cocktail, with 50% of sales going towards the Pink Wig breast cancer fundraiser, along with 10% of all of our food and other drink sales, between 3pm-7pm.

4th – 13th august 2023: FALMOUTH WEEK AT THE WORKING BOAT

Where: Right on our doorstep

One of the busiest weeks of the year for our harbour town. Falmouth Week is back, and we’re ready to get our legendary Working Boat events well underway in our mar-quay on the sea. Join us throughout the week for live music, from barn dancing with Ceilidh band Karrygi Du, to Cornish folk from Jonah’s Lift, and the lively Falmouth Soul Sensation

We’ll be serving our delicious pub classics and local ales on tap from our pub, and in the marquee. Plus, we’ll be joined by our friends at Pizza Pls throughout Falmouth Week, who will be firing up the oven to keep you all fed with their signature Neapolitan style pizzas.

Don’t miss out on the grand finale on the 11th August, when the midnight skies above Falmouth will come alight with a spectacular firework display. We’ve got the best views across the bay to enjoy the show!
