What’s on in Cornwall this March 2022
There are plenty of opportunities to embrace the early signs of spring in Cornwall this March, with lots going on across our coastline. From flower markets to spring fayres, for our latest what’s on guide we’ve put together our favourite note-worthy events happening in March 2022.

Where: 5 minute drive from The Greenbank
Head to Princess Pavilions to discover Cornwall’s vibrant flower industry at this very special two day event. Mark the start of spring in style and explore all that the season’s abundance has to offer thanks to the many exhibitors and trade stalls that bring their fantastic displays of locally grown flowers, floral arrangements, specimen plans and photographic displays to this event. 5th March: journey to space with tim peake, hall for cornwall
Where: 20 minute drive from The Greenbank
Join national pioneer and leading scientist and aeronaut, Tim Peake, for a mind-blowing talk that will take you through time and space. At the newly re-opened Hall for Cornwall, during this exciting live show Tim will take you on a personal tour through the space-time continuum as you explore all that life yonder holds and discover what it’s really like to be an astronaut. 5th march: world pasty championships, eden project
Where: 50 minute drive from The Greenbank
Head to North Cornwall this March for a day that is sure to delight and unite all pasty lovers. The World Pasty Championships are once again returning to the Eden Project for their 10th year. Supported by the Cornish Pasty Association, this delicious event includes lots of Cornish pastimes, like pasty making tournaments, live music and plenty of entertainment for all the family to enjoy. 13th march: ceramic tile makers workshop with star glazers, hall for cornwall
Where: 20 minute drive from The Greenbank
Embrace your creative side with this unique and interactive workshop at Hall for Cornwall. Join Christine from Falmouth’s Star Glazers cafe for a morning of decorative ceramic tile making using air-dried clay. Create your own decorative tile by incorporating a range of textures and patterns as well as using inspiration from Cornwall and beyond. You’ll leave with a hand-made clay tile, painted and ready to take home. The ticket cost includes materials and your creation as well as a selection of refreshments throughout the morning. 18th-20th march: Bedruthan spring fayre, BEDRUTHAN HOTEL
Where: 50 minute drive from The Greenbank
Head to the north coast this March, to discover Cornwall’s incredible independent creatives. Wander around the Spring-inspired market that’s open from Friday to Sunday to explore a huge range of incredible products as created by our very own home-grown talent. From delicious foodie items to intricate decorations, you’re sure to find it all at this very creative event. until 26th march: the art of animation, Falmouth art gallery
Where: 10 minute walk from The Greenbank
Discover the ins and outs of all things animation, thanks to Falmouth Art Gallery‘s latest exhibition. With a collection of never seen before work, learn about the behind-the-scenes magic of creating some of TV’s most beloved characters with displays of work from household favourites including The Gruffalo, The tiger who came to tea, Mr Bean, and Shaun the Sheep. Both adults and children alike will love exploring the production process as well as even learning how to make your own animated film. Discover more about this completely free event here.
Thursday 24th March: Taste of Cornwall, the water’s edge, falmouth

Friday 25th march: sundowner session

Kick-start your weekend the right way with an evening at the Water’s Edge. At our Cocktail Club, savour two for £10 cocktails whilst drinking in the views as your overlook the harbour. In addition to our club, you can also expect to enjoy laughs with friends and on the last Friday of each month, a guest appearance from live local musical talents.
