2nd JULY: Bruce Adams and the Craig Milverton Trio, CHYCARA, CARNON DOWNS

Where: 15 minute drive from The Greenbank

If you’re a jazz lover, don’t miss tickets to see Bruce Adams performing with the Craig Milverton Trio. Bringing fantastic jazz sounds, drama and also fantastically funny anecdotes to the stage, this group of musicians will be sure to entertain all evening. Doors open at 6:30pm for guests to get their drinks in, with the music starting at 7.30pm at the stunning Chycara venue.  You can buy tickets here.

2nd JUly: A midsummer night’s dream, PENlee park theatre, PENZANCE

Where: 50 minute drive from The Greenbank

Quantum Theatre will be putting on an enchanting show and bringing to life Shakespeare’s endearing comedy of love and intrigue to the stage. This exciting and witty production will be sure to make you fall in love just like the characters. 3rd JUly: SUnrise Yoga Experience, lost gardens of heligan

Where: 55 minute drive from The Greenbank

If there’s a spot to practice yoga and feel utterly relaxed, it’s got to be at the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Join Sarah for a silent early morning wander through these verdant gardens and head to the well-being tent to take part in a beginners’ yoga class. This will then be followed by meditation, another glorious walk and breakfast in the Heligan Kitchen. For just £35, what better way to start the day?

THROUGHOUT JULY: THE ALVERTON SUMMER GARDEN SESSIONS, TRURO

Where: 20 minutes from The Greenbank

Bask in the natural beauty of The Alverton’s private gardens, dine al fresco on their sun-drenched terrace and listen to dreamy acoustic music at their Summer Garden Sessions. With homegrown Cornish talents playing on eight different evenings throughout the summer, all tickets include reserved seating and a cocktail of your choice on arrival. 4th-8th JUly: miracle theatre perform ‘starcrazy’, the minack theatre, porthcurno

Where: 1 hour drive from The Greenbank

Set in the winter of 1957, Stanley is attempting to make contact with other life forms. This cosmic comedy is all about obsession and the rekindling of love, hope and possibility. Written and directed by Bill Scott, and original music by Tom Adams, all are welcome to this event but over the age of seven is recommended. You can buy tickets to this show, here.

8th July: jesca hoop, the cornish bank, falmouth

Where: 10 minute walk from The Greenbank

The first event for Jesca Hoop at The Cornish Bank proved so popular, they had to create a new date! This American singer songwriter, originally from California, writes and performs in diverse music styles. She has collaborated with bands such as Iron & Wine, as well as opened the show for Elbow, Placebo and Andrew Bird. Largely known for her experimental folk rock style, her previous mentor, Tom Waits, described her music as “like going swimming in a lake at night.” We’re certainly intrigued and excited to get tickets for this performance.

16th JULY – 31st July: Wavelength presents: Drive-In Cinema, Watergate Bay

Where: 53 minutes from The Greenbank

Enjoy cult classics from the cliff tops of Cornwall. With a variety of showings, from Dirty Dancing to The Greatest Showman, you can enjoy your favourite films with the incredible backdrop of Watergate Bay. : The Eden Project

24th-26th JULY: Introduction to botanical painting, the eden project

Where: 1 hour from The Greenbank

One of our favourite venues in Cornwall to visit, the Eden Project always has something special waiting in store.  On this three day course, you get to join botanical artists from the Eden Project Florilegium Society, who will guide you through various techniques to achieve a finished watercolour painting. This course if suitable for both beginners and improvers. The course includes materials, lunch and refreshments as well as entrance to the Eden Project. 29th-30th july: Dandy lion story telling, trebah garden

Come along to this endearing musical fable performed across Trebah Garden. Dandy Lion is a brand-new, intimate story-telling experience perfect for families. You’ll meet Tevi, a special lion cub that discovers what it means to be the leader of a pride. This enchanting story is a reminder that being unique is a strength and will leave your heart feeling full. 30th July: Rock Oyster Festival, dinham house, st minver

Where: 1 hour 15 minute from The Greenbank

Rock Oyster Festival is one not to miss this July. Enjoy this annual celebration of art, food and music overlooking the Camel Estuary. Thousands of oysters are eaten as visitors celebrate the best of local Cornish seafood.
