5th December – 3rd January: Aladdin

This Christmas, Hall for Cornwall brings a magical new pantomime to the stage with Aladdin. Kernow King returns as the hilarious Widow Twerkey in this fresh Cornish twist on the classic tale, written by Rowe and Richard Healey.

Packed with familiar songs, family-friendly fun and plenty of festive sparkle, this enchanting show is perfect for all ages. Expect magic carpets, cheeky lamps, and lots of laughs.

6th – 7th December: Falmouth’s Festive Weekend

Falmouth’s festive weekend is back for 2025! Enjoy a full schedule of exciting events including a live music stage, Christmas market, giant snow globe, artificial ice rink, and Santa’s grotto.

Don’t forget, we’re just up the road! Stroll up to our Water’s Edge bar and restaurant for a bite to eat, or a warming mulled wine.

From 11th December: Mousehole Harbour Lights

Since 1963, Mousehole Harbour Lights have been a highlight of the Christmas calendar. Every evening, as the skies transition from winter blues to pastel pinks, this charming Cornish fishing village comes to life with a magical display of Christmas lights.

This year, the light switch on will be taking place on Thursday 11th December, with over 60 light displays.

Throughout December: Christmas at the Eden Project

For a truly astounding experience this Christmas, head to the Eden Project in St Austell. With an immersive Christmas lights experience brand new for this year, explore the biomes as they are transformed into twinkling wonderlands.

As the temperatures drop, warm up with a rejuvenating session in Escape to the Sauna’s harbourside location. Perched on our quay, this Scandinavian-style sauna offers the ultimate relaxation experience, complete with sweeping sea views and the option of a refreshing dip in the ocean.

24th December: Christmas Eve at The Working Boat

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the night, The Working Boat team were up pulling pints! Join us for a jolly good knees-up on Christmas Eve.

We’ll be celebrating with plenty of tipples, piping hot pasties, and the soulful sounds of Eight In A Bar from 3pm to get you into the spirit of things before the big day.

Opt for a refined evening with Bobby’s New Year Dinner in the Water’s Edge, get footloose in The Riverbank Suite, or celebrate below decks at our pub, The Working Boat.
