We’re temporarily closing our restaurant, bar & pub
To all our wonderful guests and visitors,
Due to the rapidly changing situation in regards to the global pandemic, we have done our best in a very troubling time to adhere to government guidelines and advice. Our main priority has always been, and will always continue to be the health, safety and well-being of our guests, staff members and the local community.
Up until now, we have felt that we can safely offer services in our food and beverage areas, with additional precautions in place to protect everyone. However, after some difficult conversations, we have sadly come to the decision to close our Water’s Edge restaurant, bar and The Working Boat pub for an initial period of three months – however this is under constant review. We will be in touch with all future guests as soon as possible to discuss further.
We are devastated to make this call, as we understand the impact this will have on some of our staff, the business and guests staying with us.
For all stays, we are now honouring a 48 hour free cancellation and will not be asking for any prepayment. Our bedrooms are still open for people requiring accommodation for workers associated with essential services. No leisure guests. We will provide room service meals for residents although on a very reduced scale. We understand the inconvenience this may cause our guests, but we hope under the circumstances everyone can respect our decisions.
Finally, we’d like to thank our fantastic customers for all the support over the last few weeks. We are offering gift vouchers with the sentiment of ‘buy now enjoy later’, and if you would like to purchase these to use when we are back on our feet, please email reception@greenbank-hotel.
These are uncertain and worrying times for all of us, but we must all pull together to protect the most vulnerable, always show kindness to one another, try to remain positive and keep washing our hands!
