We raised £3000 skydiving for Cornwall Air Ambulance
THE GREENBANK SKYDIVE
On 5th October, some of our brave Greenbank team took to the skies to embrace a dizzying 10,000 foot skydive through the Cornish clouds above Perranporth. Managing Director Ben Young, Wedding and Events Manager Jane Williams, Operations Manager Yohann Thuillier, Purchasing and Projects Manager Mike Parsons and Executive Chef Nick Hodges, collectively raised a staggering £3000 for Cornwall Air Ambulance’s New Heli Appeal.
an unforgettable experience skydiving in cornwall
Jane Williams, who recently celebrated her seventieth birthday, described the jump as “thrilling and something I am so pleased to have finally experienced. After receiving so many kind donations I couldn’t be nervous. I owed it to everyone who gave generously and I’m so happy we were able to raise so much money.”
cornwall air ambulance’s new heli appeal
Throughout the year, we’ve been constantly fundraising alongside our sister hotel at The Alverton. At the beginning of the year, we pledged to raise £10,000 for Cornwall Air Ambulance’s New Heli Appeal. Pub quizzes, a coastal convoy, cream tea day, and many more events have contributed to our grand total of £36,000. Both hotels have plenty more fundraising events in store – so watch this space!
