The Water’s Edge Rum Club: Coyaba Rum 19th June


Rum lovers unite!

For the ultimate rum tasting in Cornwall, look no further than The Greenbank! On Wednesday 19th June from 7pm, we’ll be hosting our Rum Club with the lovely folk from Coyaba Rum. Our first ever Cornish rum tasting event is one not to be missed.

The Coyaba team will be telling us about their distillery based on the Lizard Peninsula whilst you sip a few of their delicious samples. Sink into two rum cocktails before tucking into a hearty slow cooked lamb or jackfruit dish, created by our Head Chef Bobby Southworth.

Meet the maker

Born in the Caribbean and raised in Cornwall, Coyaba is a small batch spiced rum made in a clifftop distillery on the Lizard. Specially chosen rums from Trinidad, Jamaica and Barbados are blended by William, head distiller, with natural flavours and secret spices to create these funky, fresh and fun rums. It’s time to get your fiesta on!

Coyaba Spiced Banana Rum
This banging rum tastes like banoffee pie, with an added cinnamon and vanilla kick. It packs a punch with ginger ale and a wedge of lime.

Coyaba Scorched Pineapple Rum
This pineapple rum is packed with feisty flavour. It’s a BBQ bang fused with sweet cinder toffee. Start the fiesta with lemonade and a wedge of lime.
