The Greenbank Real Weddings: Holly and Tom Merrill
We love seeing our brides’ and grooms’ wedding photos! Here we feature Holly and Tom Merrill, who got married at The Greenbank last year. Holly and Tom hosted their reception in our Riverbank Suite, which can hold up to 120 guests. They enjoyed a three course meal, followed by many memorable speeches, before dancing the night away overlooking Falmouth harbour.
They said: “We instantly fell in love with how stunning the hotel is, the breathtaking views, and how organised and knowledgeable Jane was. Since then, Jane has helped us every step of the way to organise our dream wedding.
We were able to give all of our guests a choice of food for the wedding breakfast. This was great, because we all know food is one of the things people talk about at weddings. Our guests thought the food was absolutely fantastic. We opted for the Cornish supper option in the evening which also went down a storm.
All of the staff were so kind to myself and my husband, as well as our families. Whether they worked on reception, the bar, cleaning, or waiting on. It was clear they put in some very long hours, but were always willing to help.”
“My sister booked a family room as they have three children, and it was so lovely that upon arrival, there were colouring books and crabbing gear for the kids! Just one of the extra special touches. We went for breakfast the following morning, and the staff greeted my husband and I by our by our married name, which was so sweet. Our guests fell in love with The Greenbank too.
