Our New Spring Menu Has Arrived

Our new spring menu has launched and looks simply scrumptious! We talk with Head Chef Bobby Southworth about what to expect on the menu this season…

“Being Cornish born and bred, I’m passionate about provenance. My inspiration for our new spring menu is driven by my love of food and of course Cornwall. Our kitchen team attempt to highlight the very best local produce but for a Cornish market; you could say ‘tasting the views’.

With one of the county’s liveliest fishing ports on our doorstep, we’re lucky to have an abundance of first class fish and seafood at our finger tips. We like to take our pick of the day’s catch and serve it with olive crushed new potatoes, spring greens and lemon caper butter. Simple but oh-so-good.”

After the hearty meals of winter, spring and summer flavours are all about freshness. Expect a celebration of what’s in season – including rhubarb, seaweeds, samphire, scallops and seasonal berries.

When the temperature starts to rise, our sun-drenched terrace is the ultimate spot for lazy lunching. There’s something very Cornish about grazing over smoked salmon, fresh hand-picked crab and warm focaccia with a glass of something good, overlooking Falmouth harbour.”
