One not to miss: Circus Funtasia in Cornwall
Roll up, roll up! We recently had the pleasure of watching Circus Funtasia – described as a show ‘that will definitely go beyond your expectations.’ And it certainly did! From fire-breathing and wire walking, to skilled jugglers, acrobats and aerialists, this epic spectacle offers something for every age.
With little nods to the ever-popular musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ throughout the show, Circus Funtasia promises modern magic, fast-paced thrills and a toe-tapping soundtrack in its heated big top.
Nikolay and Ivan from Bulgaria were first to the stage, inside the mesmerising ‘wheel of death’. Expect truly heart-in-the-mouth moments as the duo perform synchronised acrobatic skills, whilst the dangerous wheel rotates and soars to the top of the tent.
Between each act is fun thanks to Emilion, the loveable geek who keeps the arena filled with laughs. And with the sweet scents of popcorn and candy floss, plus face painting during the interval, circus nostalgia is guaranteed.
Elodie, Lucy-Louise and Felicia all performed separate acts in the ring, with breath-taking tight wire stunts, graceful aerial twists, and swinging trapeze skills.
Other entertainers include Antonio (with his impressive fire breathing and whip cracking antics), Attila (powerfully hand balancing in a vertical position) and the Segway-riding Nia (the youngest juggler in the UK with her own act, as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.) Edge of your seat stuff!
The circus show finishes with a troupe of brave motorbike riders in a ‘globe of death.’ Inside this five metre high ball, they’ll cross over and loop around each other’s paths at frightening speeds. Concentration, dedication and respect is the formula for success in every show.
