National Cream Tea Day at The Water’s Edge Bar
it’s national cream tea day on friday 28th june
As a nation, we may be divided on the way we pronounce ‘scone’, on how much milk or sugar we take in our tea, and which order the jam and cream goes on. But we can agree on one thing – you can’t beat a cream tea! On Friday 28th June, we are celebrating National Cream Tea Day at the Water’s Edge bar between 3-5pm.
you buy the tea, we’ll buy the scones
Enjoy a pot of Cornish tea and a homemade scone served with jam and Rodda’s clotted cream for just £3 per person. We will be donating every penny to Cornwall Air Ambulance’s New Heli Appeal, a charity we have pledged to raise £10,000 for by April 2020. Indulge in a British classic whilst raising money for an incredibly worthy, local cause. We’ll pop the kettle on if you pop down to visit us with £3 in cash, ready to donate to our collection tins.
£3 per person, we can only accept cash donations directly into our collection tins.
Make a day of it, and check out our all day dining menu at the Water’s Edge restaurant.
