Our dedicated KP, Ben, has been a valued member of our team for over two decades. With his passion for whisky and history, Falmouth and The Greenbank are truly fortunate to have him onboard.

What do you love most about Falmouth?

I love the multiculturalism of Falmouth. The town is a melting pot of diverse cultures, each bringing its unique flavour to the community. There’s always something new and fascinating happening – whether it’s a festival, an art exhibit, or a culinary event. Every corner of Falmouth has a story to tell, reflecting on rich traditions, histories, and experiences.

Meeting so many people from different backgrounds is incredibly exciting. Each conversation offers a fresh perspective and a chance to learn something new. Whether it’s about a different way of life, or a delicious recipe passed down through generations.

Where is your favourite place to visit?

It’s got to be Gylly Beach, hands down – just the sheer openness of it. All you need is a summer’s day and a good book, and you’re set for the perfect afternoon. You won’t find me going in the sea, though. It’s far too cold for me, no matter how inviting it looks.

What’s your favourite Cornish delicacy?

It has to be a Cornish pasty.

How would you describe Cornwall in three words?

Wild. Historic. Free.
