Falmouth Sea Shanty 2025: The Round-Up

Looking back on another fantastic weekend by the water as we round-up the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival 2025. From show-stopping performances and flowing local brews, to delicious food and so much more.

From 13th to 15th June, The Greenbank’s private quay came alive with music, laughter, and a sea of smiling faces. Yet again we were delighted to host another unforgettable Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival. As key sponsors of this iconic event, we were thrilled to throw open the doors of our main-stage marquee. Thousands of shanty seekers joined us over the weekend, all eager to soak up the spirit of the festival.

The stage was set right on our private quay, with a backdrop of boats bobbing in the harbour and the sound of harmonies floating across the water.

From festival favourites The Oggymen and Bryher’s Boys, to the powerful vocals of Femmes De La Mer and the rollicking energy of The Countrymen and Pirates of St Piran, our line-up brought the house down – or rather, shook the tent with roaring choruses and foot-stomping rhythms.

Fuelled by the festival atmosphere (and a few Tarquin’s gin and tonics), guests kept spirits high throughout the weekend.

The marquee bar and The Working Boat served a stellar selection of local brews, while the Jubel Land Rover parked outside poured cold beers to happy hands.

Skinner’s legendary Betty Stogs also made a lively appearance, bringing her signature wit and mischief to the quay.

And it wasn’t just the music that stole the show – our loaded fries offering proved a hit with festival foodies.

From tender pulled pork to crispy salt-and-pepper squid, the flavours matched the festival vibe: bold, fresh, and just what was needed between shanty sets.

With the sun glinting off the water and the sound of sea songs in the air, the whole weekend was a true celebration of community, music, and maritime heritage.
