7th September: End of Summer Charity Quiz and Feast Night

Where: The Working Boat, Falmouth

Bring your A-game and your appetite for a Charity Quiz and Feast night at The Working Boat, in support of Bliss. Kicking off at 7pm, enjoy a surf and turf-style feast, featuring a Tomahawk steak and a complimentary bottle of wine for each team.

Tickets are £39 per person, and there are plenty of prizes up for grabs including a year’s worth of Sunday roasts, two cocktails at The Alverton, cream tea at The Falmouth, plus many more!

12th September: Wine and Cheese Evening

Where: The Falmouth

Celebrate the end of summer with a Wine and Cheese evening at The Falmouth. Settle into their Castle View restaurant, and savour a selection of locally sourced, artisan cheeses, complemented by wines from Moët’s vineyards.

For £32 per person, expect delightful wine and cheese pairings, a guest speaker from The Greet Cheese, and glimmering sea views.

12th – 14th September: Little Orchard Cider Festival

Where: Healey’s Cider Farm Cornwall

Now in its twelfth year, The Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival returns for a weekend of proper Cornish fun set in the beautiful surroundings of Healey’s Cyder Farm.

Expect big live bands, a buzzing BBC Introducing stage, and the much-loved orchard silent disco — all nestled among the apple trees. With camping, glamping, and a seriously impressive selection of ciders from across the UK, it’s the perfect way to see out the summer.

24th – 28th September: Truro Food Festival

Where: Lemon Quay, Truro

Truro Food Festival is back for 2025, celebrating the very best of Cornwall’s food and drink scene. Expect award-winning producers, top Cornish chefs, street food favourites, and live music.

What’s more, our very own Executive Chef, Nick Hodges, will be taking the stage at 5pm on Friday 26th September. Don’t miss the chance to see him in action as he showcases his signature style and passion for Cornish cuisine.

27th September: Fawlty Towers Comedy Evening

Where: The Falmouth

Head to our sister hotel, The Falmouth for a night of immersive comedy and delicious dining, inspired by legendary British sitcom Fawlty Towers.

Enjoy a welcome glass of fizz before taking your seat for a mouth-watering three-course dinner, served with a generous helping of laughter. This one-of-a-kind performance will unfold all around you throughout the evening, blending iconic moments from Fawlty Towers with new comic twists and improvised chaos.

26th – 27th September: Fal Beer Fest

Where: Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

In a showcase of brewing at its very best, Fal Beer Fest is held in the beautiful grounds of Falmouth’s Princess Pavilion.

With over 100 beers, ciders and perries to choose from, you can sip and tap your feet to the likes of King Dinosaur, Malcom Joseph and the Unquiet Peace, and The J-Ray Shakedown, not to mention the mouth-watering street food from The Chic Pea.
