Renowned singer-songwriters Zervas & Pepper bring you This Flight Tonight, an intimate live acoustic tribute to the music of Joni Mitchell, performed by a five-piece ensemble.

The show features iconic songs like “California,” “Blue,” “Woodstock,” “Both Sides Now,” “Coyote,” “Big Yellow Taxi,” “A Case of You,” and many more. This Flight Tonight is a heartfelt celebration of Joni Mitchell’s work, a project the duo has been crafting for years, and in 2023, they will finally take it on tour for the first time.

Get ready for some spooky fun this season as Oktoberfest takes over The Working Boat, sponsored by Lacuna! On 25th, this harbourside hangout transforms into a traditional beer hall, with a fancy dress competition taking place on the 26th, and a German-themed spooky quiz taking place on 27th.

Lacuna will be serving up a variety of German-style beers in classic two-pint steins, alongside the usual Working Boat brews, plus a German-inspired menu – think loaded bratwurst hot dogs and chicken schnitzel. What’s more, anyone wearing Lederhosen will received their first stein of beer for half price!

One of the most magical events of the year will be taking place this October in The Alverton’s Great Hall. Witches and wizards alike are each invited to the Wizardry Ball on Saturday 19th October for an evening of magic with a four-course feast, whipped up by our professor of Cornish cuisine and kitchen sorcery – Ollie Wyatt.

Sunday 20th’s Witchrafternoon Tea promises an afternoon of whimsical tricks and mesmerising flavours at a feast fit for wizards of all ages, in a magnificently magical twist on The Alverton’s signature sweets, scones, and savouries.
