8th May: Helston Flora Day

Where: Helston

Every year in May, the streets of Helston come alive at this joyous day festival that celebrates the blossoming of spring and bids ‘good riddance’ to the cold, dark months of winter.

Expect an abundance of flowers, brightly dressed locals and couples dancing in the streets at this lively get-together that attracts tens of thousands of people every year.

15th May: Florence Adooni

Where: The Cornish Bank, Falmouth

From Ghana’s musical heartland to Falmouth’s vibrant music scene, Florence Adooni is bringing powerful Frafra Gospel to The Cornish Bank this May.

Accompanied by an outstanding live band, expect an evening of transcendent vocal power from an artist who’s taken Europe by storm.

22nd – 25th May: Horrible Histories 3D

Where: Hall for Cornwall, Truro

Entertain your little ones this May half term with Horrible Histories 3D at Truro’s Hall for Cornwall. Choose between the Terrible Tudors or the Awful Egyptians for an educational, fun-filled show!

Using actors and eye-popping 3D special effects, historical figures and events will come alive on stage, as little ones’ eyes gaze with wonder.

23rd – 26th May: Falmouth Food Festival

Where: Falmouth

Falmouth Food Festival is returning for its third year! This free event brings together exceptional food, live music, and a vibrant atmosphere in one of Falmouth’s stunning waterfront locations.

Expect hand picked, local food and drink producers, musicians, craft makers and artists over the late May bank holiday weekend.
