4th July: Will Keating and Special Guests

Where: Trebah Garden

Renowned for his powerful voice and poignant storytelling, Will Keating is an award-winning singer-songwriter whose music beautifully fuses traditional folk with a contemporary edge.

Steeped in the spirit of Cornwall, his songs offer a heartfelt tribute to our home county. Watch him perform this July at Trebah Garden, a sub-tropical paradise, set against a stunning coastal backdrop. It’s certainly not an event to be missed.

5th – 6th July: Food Jam

Where: Enys Gardens, Penryn

Food Jam returns to Enys Gardens this July for two incredible days filled with world cuisine, live music, and entertainment. Celebrate ten years of tastes and grooves at this popular family-friendly festival.

Little ones can expect arts and crafts workshops, forest school activities, and foraging walks. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can enjoy beer tastings, cooking demonstrations, wilderness yoga, plus lots more.

5th & 12th July: Summer BBQs by the sea

Where: The Falmouth Hotel

A Cornish summer wouldn’t be complete without a delicious BBQ by the sea. On Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th July, our sister hotel, The Falmouth will be firing up their terrace BBQ to cook sizzling seafood, prime cuts of meat, and chargrilled seasonal vegetables.

Settle into a seat on their sweeping lawn or take in views from the terrace – all you need to do is turn up, tuck in, and let the sea breeze and sunshine do the rest.

19th July – 31st August: Summer Fun and Games

Where: Pendennis Castle, Falmouth

This summer, Pendennis Castle welcomes families to explore a world of exciting activities, all with panoramic views of Falmouth Bay.

Whether you’re enjoying a round of mini golf, testing your aim with archery, or building the perfect den, there’s something to delight everyone, from the youngest adventurers to the young-at-heart.

26th July: Dragon Boat Race

Get ready for a high-energy highlight of summer at The Greenbank with our annual Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 26th July. Watch brightly coloured dragon boats racing the length of Carrick Roads, while enjoying bacon baps for breakfast, indulgent dirty fries (try the crispy squid or hickory‑pulled pork), and a refreshing pint.

The event is free to attend, and 10% of all food and drink proceeds go to Mylor Sailability.

July to September: Summer BBQs on the Terrace

Where: The Alverton, Truro

This summer, our sister hotel The Alverton is firing up the grill for a series of delicious Friday evening BBQs on their beautiful sun-drenched terrace in Truro. Between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, their peaceful hilltop spot becomes a laid-back haven for food lovers looking to unwind.

Expect flame-grilled meats, fresh seafood, moreish sides, and tasty vegetarian and vegan options. Pre-book or simply turn up and tuck in.
