We have now joined forces with the Cornish Day Sailing crew to offer our guests discounted rates on a unique sailing experience.
Leap aboard Olympus – a 47 foot cruising ketch for your complete day under sail. Olympus sails from mid-May until October, commencing on Monday 14th May for the 2018 season.
The skipper and team are aboard for your safety and comfort, so all you have to do is kick back, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you sail across Falmouth Bay and over to the Helford River. If you would like to get involved with the sailing, you will be able to take the helm, handle the ropes and hoist the sails under the guidance of the Olympus team.
A full Cornish deli lunch with homemade and local produce including Cornish crab will be prepared for you, as well as a traditional cream tea served in the afternoon and refreshments throughout the day.
The discounted ‘Daysail’ price is £81 per person for the full day from 9am to 4pm. The trip begins at North Quay in Falmouth town (approximately an 8 minutes walk from the hotel) or step aboard the Falmouth Watertaxi from our very own pontoons for the short trip across to meet the Cornish Day Sailing crew, tide permitting.

The crew also offer a Sunset Cruise for £49.50 per person (discounted rate) which begins at 5:30pm and finishes at 8:30pm. This sailing trip includes homemade canapés and a glass of Procescco – don’t forget your camera!
As well as this, the crew can provide private bookings and exclusive use of the Olympus for £738 for the full day from 9am to 4pm. Indulge in a Cornish deli lunch with refreshments and a cream tea for up to 10 people.
Or enjoy private use during a Sunset Sail trip for 10 people from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. This sailing trip includes homemade canapés and a glass of Procescco for just £445.50.
