Coming soon! Our latest hotel developments
We’re very excited to reveal our latest developments at The Greenbank Hotel – the redesign of The Florence Suite, lobby and entrance hall.
Our lobby, upon arrival of the hotel, will see the introduction of Lloyd Loom chairs, rattan side tables and an aged oak flooring in a chevron pattern. Decadent details will include antique crackled lights, palm tree plants dotted around, and plush cushion fabrics in nautical blues, whites and iconic paisley prints.
In our grand entrance hall you’ll soon find chandelier pendants hung at staggered heights, local seascape artwork adorning the sanded walls, and mood lighting created by new tall table lamps. The carefully placed Zoffany Marmorino wallpaper will draw inspiration from the beautiful plaster mouldings on the walls of rococo buildings.
And The Florence Suite – room 101 – will see a dramatic reform. Its distinctive features including the freestanding roll-top bath, lounge area, and gigantic bed facing the panoramic harbour views will remain, but the colour scheme will now include deep teals, mustards and pale turquoises. Expect cool contemporary artwork, commissioned brass furniture, and tripod floor lamps. And the finishing touches of bespoke knitted throws, textured rugs and cushions will promise comfort and cosiness.
The project will be led by Dynargh Design who were also commissioned for our Water’s Edge bar and restaurant, The Working Boat pub, and the recent Lookout Suite. We hope it will be complete in March 2018.
